For me it was a little weird. My voting place was a local firestation. I wasn't really sure where to go and I didn't want to go in the wrong place and get busted somewhere I shouldn't be by the firemen. I'm sort of jealous of all those people who have stickers and all that stuff. Where I went it was just a table of older ladies signing people in. There was just me and a man that came in behind me. Everyone was very nice and helpful It was nice to be in a political atmosphere without all of the tension that I usually get from having different views from my family and some friends.
But it was weird in other ways too. I'm not in a party so I don't do all the primary stuff that other people do. I don't get to vote that often. I felt like even though it was important and it was something that I've been looking forward to, that I wasn't old enough. Funny right? I've been able to vote for almost 10 years. You'd think I would be used to it by now.
