Poetic Licence Revoked
Ok, so I may have randomly had some rhyming moments this month, and wrote a pair of really crappy poems. The thing is, I'm actually quite interested in what anyone has to say about them, so I'll put them up and hope I don't get ripped to pieces. :) And just in case anyone asks, I didn't write them based on any particular situation or anything, I just thought they sounded nice in my head and decided to put them down on whiteboard (and internet). So here goes:
I think, I hope, I know, I pray
That all the things I do today
Will let me be
What hope can see
And light my way eternally
AND
Light the Fire
With blades of Might
Forging ever Higher
Upon mercies Plight
So, there is my poetic licence used up for the month. What do you think? On a scale of, 'Hmm...not bad' to 'I think you just broke the internet with the force of your FAIL'.
