I can't think of a title right now, forgive me!
Hello there, children. I guess it's time for my weekly update here, while I'm waiting for my mom to come grope pick me up at school. By the way, the ''grope'' thing is something that I definitely cannot explain, because it has to do with French and people who are bad at speaking English... My apologies. Just to make it clear though, my mother doesn't grope me, lulz.
Next week is... fall break? How do you call that week off during the fall semester? I mean, there is the spring break in March, but what about the one in October? We call it the ''reading week'' here, but I doubt it is its real name... Well, anyway, I have the week off next week, yay! What sucks a bit more is the fact that I have many exams and papers due for this week... The Spanish exam scares me, because it's been so long since I have speaked or even studied it... I forgot almost everything. I will have to study a lot for it, and... well, I'm not really motivated because I do not like Spanish. I will not comment on that matter, because it is useless, but anyway. I have to study for Arabic as well. This exam scares me as well, because I'm pretty sure the teacher is going to ask us to write down words she says, but how the hell can I know if the word is masculine or feminine? Urgh, and it is worth a lot for the term...
You know, I have always wanted to learn Arabic, because I think it is a beautiful language, and I like the way it is written, but now that I have started studying it... Well, I will not say that I do not like anymore, because it wouldn't be true, but the teacher has a very... weird way to teach. It's pretty clear that it is her first time teaching, and I know I should not judge her too harshly, but... So far, the only things we have learned are how to write in Arabic, long and short vowels, and... that's pretty much about it. The problem is that we are supposed to make an oral presentation at the end of October... that is supposed to last four minutes. Four. Minutes. Geez, I know nothing of the syntax, and she wants us to make a four-minute presentation? I really hope she will change her mind about it...
Then there is the German exam as well, but it doesn't stress me that much, which is kind of surprising coming from me. I have to write a two-page text about Switzerland, though, and... well, to be honest, it's pretty hard. :/ I hate that fact that I only know how to write basic sentences like ''Die Schweiz liegt in Europa. Sie hat keine Hauptstadt.'' and retard things like that... I think we should learn more about the syntax than how to ask directions in a city, I'm not learning German because I'm going on a travel! >__<;; I don't even know if I could ask for directions in English or in Spanish anyway.
Oh well, it's time for me to go. I'm glad that I have tomorrow off, I'll try to go to bed early tonight since I didn't sleep well at all last night... Hopefully I'll start watching Durarara!! as well, because it's about time I do it. Well then, I'm off with my BS! Have a nice week everyone! <3
