Rose has been a very good little girl the past few weeks. She did very well on the plane flight to Utah. She cried 15 minutes of the whole 5 ½ hour plane flight. I consider that a very good flight. I did change 6 diapers and her clothes once. That was interesting!
I can’t believe that she is 14 weeks old and almost 15 weeks old. Soon she will be 4 months and wow where did that time go.
I was feeding her just before we left and it was the first time I just had her socks off and could see her feet. It was funny, her hands where grabbing things just like she was a cat needing, and her little toes were doing the same thing. It was so funny to see.
Rose is growing up really fast. I can’t believe that she is changing so much. She has been wanting more attention lately. She does not want to be left alone in a room. She will make a noise to let us know that she is alone and does not like it.
In the past few weeks we put in the mobile in the crib, Rose just seems to love it. She will fall asleep with it going. I really like having that during the day. I sorta miss having that in Utah for her.
While here in Utah she keeps looking for Paul if I say daddy. If I say the catch phrase “kung fu grip” she looks for Paul. The one time I talked to Paul with the speaker phone on she keep looking for him. It seems odd that she won’t want me, or either grandparent. I show her Paul’s picture and she gets all happy and excited. I think she misses daddy. That is just a guess though.
She certainly has an attitude about who she likes and who she does not like. She puts a major frown on her face when she does not want to go to someone. It is kinda funny to see who she does and does not like.
It took Rose a few days to calm down once we had her here. She has calmed down and got right back into her normal routine. Which makes me happy. I have tired to keep everything the same for her: bed times, feedings etc. It makes it harder at nights, but we can do it. I’m just glad that she has adjusted well to the travel. It will make the next trip easier.
The first few looks outside she just seems to be taking everything in. She kicks her legs and giggles and laughs. It is so much fun to see her do this. I can’t wait until the weather is better so I can go walking outside with her at home.
