I have, for once, NO work to do. That's a lie--I've got a paper on "Twelfth Night" due on Tuesday. But that's so far away, so technically, I have no work. Also, it's spring weekend here, so the library is empty. Completely gutted of those students who any other day would feign good study habits. This leaves me in complete control of the library while at work and so I took it upon myself to snag some nice weekend/distract-myself-during-work reading, including the likes of Atwood, Cummings, Stevens and O'Hara. If anyone around enjoys beat poetry, or any poetry for that matter, pocket O'Hara-Lunch Poems. By far my fav of the pile (right now). Boy howdy, this is looking like an actual livejournal entry. My my.
In other news, there's not really any other news. This will be a highly polarized weekend what with me finally being free of homework and all. This equals days of reading/writing(/rithmitic) and nights of ice cream socials. Minus the ice cream, plus the (reasonable amount of) alcohol, keep the socials. Add in Ms. Barry, my middle school principal, notorious for denying us the right to have dances and supplementing them with ice cream socials which would later be broken up due to, yes, dancing.
In conclusion, anyone who writes/takes pictures/sings/makes music/creates anything should hit art conspiracy hard, and with a little respect too. Totally non-profit, community run. In conclusion, anyone who writes/takes pictures/sings/makes music/creates anything should stay far away from those big "publishing" corporations like poetry.com. They're scamdelicious.
What a long fucking entry.
I'm gone. Eat apples/applesauce. Use the slash more often/don't use it more often, what do I care?
