So here I am on campus for WT! I KNOW I haven't updated in like 4567890- years, and I'm sorry. The end of the semester always seems to be just horrid for that type of thing though. You haven't time for anything personal... not even something as slightly personal as a live journal entry. So the quick of it is that the semester finished out just fine... the extra work I put in paid off and my semester GPA was like 3.42 which was good. Of course Mr. Smith had to give me an A- in conducting even though I never got less than an A on anything.. whatever I don't want to waste energy going there with him. Holidays were just fine, it was nice to be home and see everyone, we're getting to that strange place though when everyone is getting old... John (my preteen brother) still gets into the whole Santa sham suprisingly, but of course the rest of us just want our $$$, gift certificates and that one outlandish gift that we asked for. So I tried to liven up the spirit with lots of baking and christmas music which was fun. So I'm here on campus we have been rehearsing the past week getting ready to leave for the tour on Thursday the 12th. Should be magical. I'm actually really looking forward to the TOUR aspect... not so much the PERFORMANCE. I've been really frustrated with my oboe and I'll be playing the tour on a combination of my spare and Steven (the 2nd oboist)'s spare. Interesting I know. So all week I've been struggling trying to make reeds for this concoction and its basically been oboe hell. The GOOD news is that my parents gave the OK for a new oboe... AMAZING! This is like a miracle and really really really good. I'm so happy and thankful.. and LUCKY!
So today we had to go in and weigh our luggage... ?!?!? yea pain in my ass of course. Ok Tyler is here wanting to eat dinner!
