I think it's time we finally figured out who the the muse of coding is. Obviously there is one. What is her name? I've been for many years considering Malete (an actual muse whose name means "practice") or Kaphes (modern greek for "coffee").
If one looks at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muse , it turns out there have been a lot of muses historically. The classic nine look to be possibly a Renaissance retcon.
There's also historical precedent for new muses or godesses, i.e., Caissa.
