(no subject)
Some several weeks ago, Lea came to visit! We had an enormous breakfast, visited the library, visited other buildings, drank a lot of hot chocolate, hung around in parks, had sushi, went to a fancy bar with Abe (where Lea had a lovely alcohol free drink and I had a MONKEY GLAND! (The bartender was super excited that I would proclaim "MONKEY GLAND" loudly on request)), went on the Grownup Underground Tour (which mostly consisted of stories about prostitutes), ate lots of tasty food and generally had a good time.
Then we both went to San Francisco. We met up with her parents for dinner, and then the Funicularites - JonHsieh + cpride for an art show. Then Lea left. On Saturday, I helped move a table up some stairs; this may be the most exciting thing that has ever happened to me. We also went, um, somewhere and did something. Sunday we went, with Lea, to see Charlie Chaplain's granddaughter be an aerialist, among other awesome things. Monday I returned to Seattle.
