I have, as usual, hadden adventures.
Saturday I trained up to New York. After a few hours of sitting and reading in the cold, I managed to find Chris, Jesse's brother, and get keys to Kat's apartment. Then I headed downtown to meet Karen in the Lower East Side. We ate pizza in a moderately nice pizza place and then wandered around a bit. Eventually we say Vicky Christina Barcelona (quick review: I liked the story and the script, but it the colors were way too high contrast and the sheer amount of human beauty eventually became grating on the mind) and then we headed to some wacky bar. There I had a $13 cocktail containing tequila, some yellow liquor or some sort, bell pepper, hot pepper, black pepper and basil. I am still not sure whether I liked it, but it was interesting. Then, I returned to Kat's to sleep. It turns out that four cats are actually a sleep deprivation machine.
The next day I got up late and read comic books until about two or three. Then I trained down to meet Akiva at Port Authority. He was two and half hours late, so this was moderately boring. He arrived, and he and I met up with Kat, who had also just arrived, and got more poncy pizza. Then Akiva and I went to Annie's loverly birthday party in the basement of China 1. Hereat, we danced with wonderful-seeming people. I was able to talk with the lovely Risa, who I had met briefly at Kat's housewarming (and who knows random people, including, apparently, Shawn Knight-on-the-Internet). Then some of us from the party went dancing in some bar for a bit, and then to late, late crepes in a cafe. Then, return to sleep.
The next day I was phenomenally exhausted. Kat, Akiva and I wandered around for a bit, including near the Natural History Museum, and then we went to some store for Kat to buy a plate. Then we ate dinner at the vegetarian dim sung restaurant. We returned to Kat's, where there was some Rock Band playing and I did some tarot readings. Then I ran off to Ken's where I met up with Ken and Kate and then slept. Ken's house is built on a subway line, and it woke me often.
The next day, Ken, Kate and I bussed down to Ryuu's. We got in at 2ish, before anyone else, but people quickly appeared. Reunion was good, and contained wonderful people, moviewatching, talking and all the usual. Susannah deserves especial mention for being awesome.

Yesterday, Ferret and I drove up to NJ. I was sick, tragically, and still am a little. I was sucked into watching SHakespeare in Love with my sisters and their visiting boyfriends. Then I slept.
I remembered to do a New Years tarot reading five seconds after midnight last night. I guess this is a sign not to do so?
Today has been workful in a variety of ways.
