Earlier today, on route to the location of Faye Valentine. I engaged in combat with the Joker. He defeated me, and I assume went on to retrieve Ms. Valentine.
They are both still at large. Ms. Valentine does not seem to be acting on her own free will. She was also apparently killed by someone named "Nusakan."
As this is the third murder of a young woman in a week, I believe it bears looking into. We may be dealing with a serial killer.

Also, if you do not mind me asking, what do you know about the man called Wesker? I noticed that you have corresponded with him as if you were old friends, as it were, and the records I have of him are incomplete. I have also been hard-pressed to get straight answers from those involved, but I believe that he has been responsible for a good deal of damage to this city at one point in time.
