Winter has broken my musical tastes: I can only listen to minimal electro.

Someone please halp. Send arse-kicking music to shake me out of it before I slip into a drum-loop induced coma.

Ta.

After only listening to Fall Out Boy for the past year, I'm finally able to be receptive to new music again, and I've been all over the place.

I'll make you a mix if I can find enough jams to put together! :D

Ahhh, Andrew Bird! I love him so much. I was actually lucky enough to see him live once in Perth - I took my lil sis for her birthday since she's a violin player, and we nearly died from the awesome, I swear. Ugh, so good! The man is a god.

I'll check out the last two, though - Dinosaur Jr I used to hear on the radio years ago, but I never owned anything of theirs so I don't know them well, and the other one I've never heard of.

Cheers chookun!

ps: want to exchange mixes? I make them mainly based on titles, so if you give me a sentence and/or a mood or a theme, I'll make one based on that :)

Yeah, let's do it!! How about spring/springtime as a theme? Spring always has good connotations for me :) Are we just making digital versions or hard copies? I can go either way!

Spring I can't do, because it's snowing like the buggery here!! If you don't mind, I'll do 'sunlight on snow' as a theme for yours! That's a bit wintery and a bit springy I think.

Now, my family-types are visiting and we're all faffing around like mad little bunnies, so you must remind me to make my mix because I'm easily distracted and very disorganised!!

What's the weather like there? Are you getting some spring-like days? Here it looks a bit like the arctic circle...
