Okay, I am officially banning myself from active LJ participation for the next couple of weeks. I've got the new research assistant gig, I've just been named the only undergrad to a rather prestigious, multi-faculty seminar panel full of Masters and PhD candidates for which I need weeks of preparation (a big yay, but also a big scary), I'm trying ( Read more... )

Well good luck to you with all of that. I've been in a similar postion and let me tell you, I don't envy you one bit. But you've got a good head on your shoulders or you wouldn't have been offered the postion, just remember to take occasional breaks or you will implode!

I've got the new research assistant gig, I've just been named the only undergrad to a rather prestigious, multi-faculty seminar panel full of Masters and PhD candidates for which I need weeks of preparation (a big yay, but also a big scary), I'm trying to get a new student organization off the ground at the behest of my department head, I still have to go to work, and somewhere in there I need to fit in actually showing up to class/doing the assigned readings along with four 15-20 page research/analysis papers, two thirty minute presentations, an a couple of exams.

And in your spare time, you sleep, right? Go you! For all the activities and the pursuit of researching "stuff".

Just thought I'd post in case anyone wonders where the hell I've gone.

We'll miss you! I promise to not read any Snotter whilst you're gone. Hee hee hee. Pace yourself, and we'll see you again when you can manage it...
