Well, it turned out that I did enjoy my day, despite feeling sad about Richard. But thanks to everyone for the kind wishes and virtual gifts! You really helped

I actually prefer physical copies, too, but with the Monkees, the rereleased albums, which are easily available, don't have the bonus tracks. So I did opt for iTunes this time. Also, their Justus album is out of print, so iTunes was the only way to get those tracks. No regrets--Justus has some *wonderful* songs, including my favorite Monkees song, "You and I."
I think I'll love HeartGold/SoulSilver more because of nostalgia, but Black/White is *awesome* so far. I just wish that level-grinding was easier...
Remind me again which generation Sapphire is? Gen III
You can have a Pokemon that can OHKO a gym leader's Pokemon? *wide eyes* What are they, level fifty already? LOL, no; Micky the Staraptor went in at level 34. He gained a level in the gym on the way to Maylene; he OHKO'd her Meditite and Machoke with Aerial Ace, and OHKO'd her Lucario with Close Combat--they were all supereffective moves.
Well, if you'll remember correctly, I did warn you about those spiders Yes, you did. XD. Oh, I already know the OoT story, but actually experiencing it for the first time is *amazing*.
I do know what you mean about the level-grinding, since it could be used as both an advantage and a disadvantage. I usually put my weaker Pokemon first, then switched him out. Me, I don't have nostalgia--everything is new. :)
Do you think GameFreak/Nintendo will follow precedence and make a re-release of the third generation, this generation?
I'm not too sure how much stock I put into the manga. So far, the game and manga versions for Ages are VERY different.
Eh, well, I've already gotten the tracks I wanted, so too late now. XD;
Do you think GameFreak/Nintendo will follow precedence and make a re-release of the third generation, this generation? Oh, there will be Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remakes--it was announced months ago that they "want to do something special for the Hoenn games," and that's all they're teasing us with for now. They're focusing on Black 2 & White 2 for the moment, but I expect attention will be focused on the Hoenn remakes next year, after the hoopla for B2/W2 wears off a bit (the Johto remakes, HeartGold and SoulSilver, came after Platinum, after all).
So far, the game and manga versions for Ages are VERY different. Well, the basic story is the same, actually. Veran definitely is more cruel in the manga, which is good for my muse.
Hm, now I have a toughy. Should I go ahead and buy Emerald when I get the money, or save off and wait until I know what their plans are? I won't be getting much money until my birthday (September), so I have a lot of time to decide.
Yeah, but the manga has his ancestor playing a big part early on, while in the game, at least so far, his ancestor is nowhere to be seen.
