The 30-Day Disney movie, Day 20: Favorite sequel
I thought about this long and hard and realized that I never really liked any of the movie sequels too much, so I'm going to go with Kingdom Hearts II. KH2 really expanded everything--you got revisit worlds and got to interact with older characters more, plus whenever you got to have new guest star party members, you could perform powerful Limit moves with them (my favorite is the Twin Howl limit you do with the Beast). Also, the antagonists are very intriguing, even if I don't fangirl over them like a good portion of the fanbase does (though I do find Axel intriguing), and between them and Maleficent trying to regain her lost power, it's intriguing to see how Sora, Donald, and Goofy, caught in the middle of it all, deal with it. Oh, and I love Mickey's expanded role in this one, too, and how he seems to have a bond with Riku much like how Sora has a bond with Donald and Goofy. And I also like the inclusions of interacting with characters from The Lion King, Curse of the Black Pearl, and Beauty and the Beast--even though Belle and Beast were in the first KH game, you didn't see anyone else until KH2, where you got to interact with Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip, and the Wardrobe.
Pretty much the only thing I don't like about KH2 is the ridiculous 3-hour prologue. I just don't care about Roxas enough to sit through it; I saved a extra save file that is saved right after the prologue, so whenever I feel like restarting the game, I can load that save and skip the prologue entirely. XD;
