OMG. i have discovered something so incredible about myself, that revealing it may mean the end of existence as we know it.
i mean, this is amazing. colossal. kinky, even.
OK, here it goes: throughout the important parts of my life (a.k.a. 9th-12th grade), a very peculiar character trait has existed in my social life (a.k.a. the guys i've been with). the peculiarity is that 90% of the guys i have dated/flirted/made out with were dark haired, swarthy beings with a sense of dry sarcasm and a tendency to be the quiet type. why is this peculiar, you might say? well, let's look deep into Ashley's past, shall we...
ever since the first time i saw Mallrats (8th grade), i have had the strangest and most inexplainable crush on Kevin Smith. why? because he plays a guy (Silent Bob) who doesn't talk (unless incredibly provoked), and yet he still manages to be funny. i'm also REALLY into the whole overcoat thing...don't ask why...i just am.
and so tonight, as i'm watching Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, i realize: "Oh my God...i have a Silent Bob fetish!" the dark hair, the silence, the swarthiness, it all fucking fits! it's just so incredibly weird to me...even more so now, because i fell asleep while watching J & SB and had a dream about making out with Kevin Smith...
wow... just cross the line that bordered Fetish Land and stepped into fantasy mode. WEIRD. REALLY, REALLY WEIRD.
