Birthday Wishes and AX 2006 Pictures [CLAMP shikishi]
I'm hoping you all the best and healthiest holidays! I've really missed you all and after today, I'm hoping that I'll be able to sit down and catch up with everyone. I also have a few stories to post for a few very special people *hugs and hints below* so I'm looking forward to that, too.
Also, Happy Birthday, chrysa, and Happy Belated Birthday _nodrama101_ and naughtiest! *major glompage* I hope your days were fun, family-filled and most of all, safe. *hugs* I can't believe I missed Kat's, and that I still haven't posted my present for Sara yet. *palmface* And Christy's, too! *hides from the shame*
It took forever but I've finally gotten around to uploading those pictures from AX 2006. -_-;; This one follows the second post, and I only posted the ones I really liked on the last day. Including the picture of my CLAMP signed shikishi board... (Warning: image heavy)
Some stuff we acquired, excluding mangas.
We also bought quite a few doujinshis and two figures of Sora and Axel, (why oh why don't they have Riku?) and other goodies.
Alucard [From Hellsing]
An awesome Alucard we spotted (more like he spotted us and sort of... stalked us as we were waiting in line for the midnight showing of Hellsing Ultimate =P ) and had to take a picture of him. That hair is just amazingly long. And the eye color is from contacts, not red-eye from the flash. ^^
Dead Ninja [From I have no idea]

Dying iPod [From Apple]
It's a dying iPod. Quick, someone give him some juice! (Actually, I think everytime a girl hugged him, he was miraculously revived. XD
Mori [From Ouran High School Host Club]
It's Mori-senpai! I'd glomp him again and again but he was running a booth so I had to let him go.
Ryuichi [From Gravitation]
A very realistically dressed Ryuichi. I love the ruffle shirt and the pants.
Subaru [From Tokyo Babylon]
So cute! I was chasing her down the hall and I think she was a bit wary of me at first. ^^"
Seishiro and Subaru [From X/1999 and Tokyo Babylon]
These didn't come out well (sadly) so please forgive the bad quality. Seishiro and Subaru! We found Subaru first and we weren't sure if he really was Subaru. (I know, what is this world coming to if I can't be sure he's Subaru on first sight). We asked if we could take a picture and he was all, "Wait, let me get Seishiro." Heh, we squeed like avid fangirls that we are and Seishiro, seeing Subaru and us approach, took off like a rumor. After much chasing by Subaru (LOL), Seishiro was caught, subdued, and willing to have his picture taken. This was the result. ~_^
Take two, sideways. Can't tell which picture is worse in quality.
Tifa [From Final Fantasy VII]
The best looking Tifa I ran into that week. Her costume was accurate down to the little details.
Zaaaaaack!!! [From Final Fantasy VII]
I just love the hair here, as I'm sure it took jars and jars and oodles of gel in order to get it standing like that. And that buster sword! I'm not sure if anyone else on my f-list loves Zack (please tell me if you do, I ship him like woah) but I can tell you that I will be pouncing on Crisis Core the moment it comes out.
Organization XIII [From Kingdom Hearts]
From left to right: Roxas (maybe because he has the keyblade, though he has an uncanny resemblance to Demyx), Saix, Xigbar, Xemnas, with Axel crouching in the front. Where are the other members, you ask? Well, they've been brutally slayed by the act of shopping for merchandise... XDDD The funny thing about this was that Axel kept getting phone calls and it took quite a bit to get them all to pose for a picture. Can't say that Axel isn't popular with the ladies, lol.
Aya and Ken [From Weiss Kreuz]
I was so happy when I spotted these two. It was like no one appreciated these men! We took a few pictures together, one with me holding Ken down with my foot. XDDD (I had permission, before anyone points and screams "Bastard!" =P)
Me as Schuldig [From Weiss Kreuz]
So remember when I was seeking advice on avoiding transferred hair dye spray onto white material? Heheh, well, here's the result of that experiment. Regardless to say, I won't be going that route again.
Schuldig-eyes. With eyeliner. And stuff.
My Schuldig-blue contacts. ^_^ I think I had more fun than I should have with these. I was feeling all powerful and "telepathic-like" because people couldn't meet my eyes. Now I'm wondering if it was just because I looked weird with blue eyes. XD
Signed shikishi from CLAMP featuring Tsubasa Chronicles.
Talk about crazy luck. For those who didn't hear the story the first time around, only 200 of these were given out. My sister and I were two of those people. We were able to see and talk to CLAMP up close as they each signed the board. Of course, there was a tape running along the carpet that we were, under no circumstances, allowed to cross. And no touching or hugging either. Or any forms of molestation because, you know, we Americans love to molest our favorite mangakas. And their hair. Makes me wonder what they've heard about America and its people. O_o But anywho, boy do I love this board. We also got a few autographs from the cast of Fullmetal Alchemist, but I haven't taken a picture of that poster yet.
ETA: Apparently, I missed a whole folder of pictures for day 3. Really nice pictures. And interesting ones, too. Will post those later, maybe sometime next week. ^^
I also have some pictures from a signing we went to with Makoto Tateno when she stopped briefly by before heading to Otakon. I'll post those when I locate where I've stored them if anyone wants to see. She had these two mini posters that were just absolutely gorgeous.
