New Kind of Fairy Tale
Okay, just to recap: Vivian and I got hypnotized or something, we were taken into the caves, a bunch of our friends came to rescue us, I got in a sword duel with Atem and nearly died, Atem collapsed from over-using his powers, and Zigfried has been watching over him ever since. Right? We all know this?
What some of you might not know is... I walked in on Zigfried and Atem in sleeping bed together... naked... as in under the covers and naked!
At first, I got really embarrassed, but I was also a little weirded out by it. I mean, come on! Its my brother with Atem! Its just... *frustrated groan* I don't know!
I know he makes Zigfried happy, and I know I should be happy too! Atem's a great guy! The way he acts, you can definately tell he's a king! A true hero through-and-through. But at the same time... It makes me so uncomfortable!
Maybe everyone is right. Maybe I am not totally over my mother's influence, and that includes sticking with certain conventions. I have been learning to accept my brother's preferences. It was just a slap of cold reality for me this morning. A big slamming shut of the old storybook; now I have a new one where two princes can live happily ever after! And just because its new doesn't mean its bad. It can even be a little exciting!
*smiles* When its put like that, maybe I can get over this!
*straightens up* Okay! I'm going to accept this and support it! My brother's happiness is worth it!
