Saturday night--the one night that watching TV actually matters for me. Fullmetal Alchemist is on, and every week i await the next episode. I watch each episode on the edge of my seat. It is important to me. But tonight, Charlie's good ol' gal-pals from Best came to visit. In the middle of the show. While drunk. One of them saw the screen

you only have the realplayer subs? omg, that is so sad... I totally should meet you sometime so I can give you the .avi fansubs for the whole series done by major fansubbers as the eps came out in japan... ...I have the fansub of the movie too btw, and an FMA special (that was shown at a promotional event in japan) is going to be coming out soon - soon as in on march 29th ( http://anidb.info/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=4269 )

...though fansubs for the most part are a legal grey area - the only reason anyone cares if FMA fansubs are distro'ed is because a completely anal retentive company licensed the english rights to the show - the japanese company doesn't give a crap (there's only one japanese company that does).. ..so for the most part, if an american company hasn't licensed the show in english yet, then no one cares if there are fansubs floating around on the internet and you won't get in trouble for having them, hence the disclaimer in fansubs (usually at the commercial bumps) of 'please do not distribute after this show has been licensed'

Oh, I wish I could use bittorent. Our school network blocked it, or some crap like that. Otherwise I would have all of Black Cat and the Hunter x Hunter musical sitting gloriously on my computer. And, oh man, I need to see that special *_*

And I have absolutely no issue with fansubs. I think they are wonderful; there are so many shows that I would never have even looked at if it were not for fansubs and scanlations, FMA among them. Just so long as eventually you buy the shows you like. Or at least, the ones you can afford to buy. Or watch them on TV or something.

And don't worry about poking your face in my blog. Random comments make my day happy. I'll just pay you beck one of these days by molesting your lj. =D

...as for the hunter x hunter musical, I don't have THAT one, I have all of hunter x hunter and all the ovas, I have the prince of tennis musical and even the bleach musical, but not the one you're looking for
