Club Meeting
Fifteen people showed up. Fifteen people. It was awesome. There were even a couple people I didn't recognize, which means my posters worked! Sweet! People had a bunch of ideas for things we could do, like host our own con, make a field trip to a convention somewhere else (may not happen until next year, but hey, we'll see what happens), and Hiroto came up with making a website. I got all of my officers, too; Caitlin Durand for VP, Manda for Secretary, and Chad for Treasurer (oh yeah, and Charlie's the mascot). Pretty much, it all went quite well--except that Lance and his buddies wouldn't shut up, and I could not hear what people were saying. Next time I am going to have to make sure to tell them that they CAN NOT TALK while we are having our group discussions or watching the DVD. It's just not a cool thing to do, and I know it bugged me and a few other people. But, it's only a hitch. We'll work on it.
I watched the new Avatar episode when I got back. It was wonderful! Really, the more I see this show, the more I love it. They showed the preview for the hour-long season finale, and it looks amazing--but it's not for two weeks. Gah.
