30 Days of books! Day four.
Day 04 - Favorite book of your favorite series
This was much easier to decide on than yesterday's question. Which I'm kind of bummed about because I wanted to use Harry Potter, and I'm a moron that's easily distracted and forgot allllllllll about it, but whatevs, I can use those books later on in this meme. I chose City of Bones, the first book in the series.
I like different parts of each of the books, but the first of the TMI series is my favorite complete. I think I enjoy City of Bones so much because it's something I secretly want - a door to a paranormal universe opens up right in the heart of NYC, well Brooklyn, and a girl's life is forever changed. It's also the first book that introduced me to Shadowhunters (warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons), and I like what Clare put forth into creating her world. She's not quite JK Rowling, but I can appreciate the effort.
