I can't believe that I'm an English major. After all, English majors should be able to read and I know I can't. You know that publication contest I've been whining about? I happened to reread the card I received as a confirmation that my manuscript was received and it says: "Please allow 8-10 weeks after the quarter deadline for judging to finalize." That's the FIRST TIME I noticed those words. Needless to say, 8-10 weeks after the quarter deadline is far from over. Just call me the Smart One.

Note to self: When ordering garlic dressing on salad, be sure to remind waitress to be easy on the garlic. Stay away everyone, dragon-breath approaches!

Some people are finally moving on campus so it's not as quiet as it usually is. Yay! Also, I've managed to buy the textbooks I needed for really good deals from Half.com and Amazon.com. I love online shopping. Especially when it's $20 cheaper than the campus bookstore.

"When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul."
