Yes, this is a replica of Hermione's wand from the Harry Potter movies. AND IT SHALL BE MINE PRECIOUS. I'm SO pumped about this you have no idea. *flails*
How did I come by this, you ask? A co-worker announced today that she and her family are heading to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Florida, which is far, far away from cold, wintery Ohio. Jokingly I asked "how much would I have to pay you to buy me a Gryffindor scarf?" Co-worker says seriously, "well it depends on how much it costs." Me: :DDDDDD "LET ME GO FIND OUT."
Perusing the store online I discovered a treasure trove of HP souvenir nonsense, and also that House scarves are $36. D: I looked around a little bit more, thinking that maybe I'd get a t-shirt instead, but none of them really appealed to me. And then. Then I clicked on Ollivander's. I wanted it like woah. But I clicked away, looking at other things, like a stuffed Hedwig or Fawkes (<3) or a Hogwarts crest magent. But I kept going back to the wand. And it was cheaper than the scarf. And when my co-worker comes back, I shall have it.
