2 - Name the fandoms you've written in, and how much you've written in that fandom, and if you still write in it.
In chronological order!
Phantom of the Opera - a few short pieces, plus the 30,000 word high school AU I mentioned in the first part of this meme. Oh, and I just remembered this, for extra points I wrote a short story about the Phantom meeting Joseph Merrick (the "Elephant Man") for my contemporary lit class in college. It was pretty bad, but extra points! Yay! That was the last time I wrote in the POTO-verse. No desire to write in it again.
Cats (the musical) - an offshoot of my Phantom obsession, I still enjoy the music (even if I haven't listened to it in years). I can't really remember what I wrote for this... a couple of fics (oh dear, I just remembered, including a Star Wars crossover *facepalm*) but nothing substantial I think. Haven't written for Cats since high school; no desire to either.
Sherlock Holmes (incl. Mary Russell) - First came Holmes, which, believe it or not, I was first introduced to through my lingering obsession with Phantom. I found a book titled "Angel of the Opera" or something like that in the mystery section about Holmes being called to investigate the mysterious goings-on at the Paris Opera. I was fascinated by Holmes, however, and read all the original novels and short stories, and continued on to books written by other authors... which then led me to the delightful Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes novels. I don't write for this fandom any more, but I do still enjoy Holmes stuff (the new BBC series 'Sherlock'? LOVE IT). Probably won't write any more for it: this is one fandom I enjoy more as a spectator, not as a participator.
Lord Peter Wimsey - It's funny how fandoms bleed into each other. For me the string goes: Phantom > Sherlock Holmes > Mary Russell > Lord Peter. Lord Peter makes a cameo appearance in one of the Russell novels and I had no clue who he was until checking out a fan group email list. So, naturally, I had to read all the stuff written about him and now he's one of my favorite classic mystery series - possibly tied to Holmes but unlike the original Holmes stories, Wimsey gets a spunky female partner, an equal, not a sidekick. *squishes Harriet* Oh yes, to answer the original question... I think I wrote... two(?) pieces with Lord Peter, though really , they or it (I can't remember .__.) were Mary Russell/Holmes crossovers. They were pretty bad.
Harry Potter - As much as I love the books, I wasn't very active in the HP fandom, possibly because most of HP fanfic is utterly revolting and the shipping wars were just ridiculous. However, I did go through a "MUST WRITE HP FIC NOW" stage in college, and started one... and never finished it. It's still malingering on my FF.net profile, destined to remain in limbo forever. I suppose if I was inspired enough, I would write something as I never lost interest in HP like I did with Phantom and Cats.
Naruto - Ah, yes, my anime stage. lol. There are a whole slew of Naruto fics (13ish?) on my ff.net profile that I'm mostly still fond of, though with a kind of "oh, look at the cute widdle fic" attitude. Ha! Probably won't write in again... though I shouldn't rule it out if the story starts to interest me again.
Bleach - Only 2 fics on my ff.net profile, though there is an unfinished
Bleach/HP crossover (I know, right?) on a collab profile. Oh, that was so much fun while it lasted! Won't be finished, though, and I probably won't ever write for Bleach again.
Mass Effect - 13 separately posted fics, plus 35 drabble-length fics and counting. I still enjoy this universe and will probably be writing for it for at least another year after ME3 comes out (unless that game completely kills me ;-;).
Fallout - wrote 1 fic, and not even a finished one at that. Just a set of vignettes, really. I still play this game, though it's such a bleak universe I have to take breaks in between. I suppose I might write for it again, if the inspiration strikes.
Dragon Age - the big one! I have 50 and counting drabble-length fics for DA, plus a 56,000 word novel that was a collab with the talented
arysani. Oh so much fun to be had in this universe! I'll likely keep writing for this, as I have yet to run out of inspiration, and there may or may not be a sequel to the aforementioned novel in the works. *shifty eyes*
