One of my co-workers was diagnosed with the H1N1 virus this past weekend... after I had lunch with her that Friday.
No, I'm not sick. I would be sick by now if I had caught it. Oddly enough, I never really worried that I was going to get sick. I was more like "oh, okay" when someone told me the news. Perhaps it's been too removed for me to really care about that much?
It was funny though. They passed around a memo earlier this week about a "colleague" being diagnosed and that face masks were available. The heck??? First of all, she was only contagious last week so if she infected anyone, they have it and there's nothing they can do about it and if that's the case, they would feel sick by now and everyone would know about it.
Oh silly humans.
(I will be getting a normal flu shot this year, though. First time for me! I don't feel like being sick while moving...)
