Here we go a waffling...
THis morning I decided to make waffles on my new waffle iron that I bought a couple of weeks ago, but just how had the opportunity to use now that I'm in my new place. Plugged it in, the indicator lights went on and all was good I thought so I mixed up the batter... Only to discover that the waffle iron had not gotten warm at all, in fact it was cold.
So I flipped on the tv, waited 15 more minutes and checked again. No go. So I took out a pan instead and made pancakes with my waffle batter. They tasted like pancakes, or maybe my mind couldn't accept the fact that waffles aren't supposed to look liike that and made my tongue think it was tasting pancakes. LOL.
Then again, I suppose the ingredients aren't that different.
