Added a few new links to the "Writing Resources" page; some name sites, reference/research, and a few misc.sites. I hope you find them useful!
Do you know how hard it is to find information on creatures of fantasy? Recently, I was bitten by the fantasy writing bug and so I plunged into the Web with all intentions of finding out everything I could about various fantasy creatures like elves, centaurs, unicorns, and some others. Would you believe that hardly any of the dozens of pages I viewed had information that I wanted like culture, temper, language, anatomy, etc? Most just had pictures but no real "facts." Very frustrating >:( However, today I did manage to find out a bit more about centaurs although I hope the issue of killing one won't come into my story... (is their heart in the human or horse half? Or do they have two?)
Someone posted a link on a Phantom message board to a "Lord of the Rings" character test. I think I would rather be Arwen...
Elrond
If I were a character in
The Lord of the Rings, I would be Elrond, Elf, ruler of Rivendell and father of Arwen.
In the movie, I am played by
Hugo Weaving.
Who would you be?
