I know it may come as a shock to some of you, but I am not perfect. I know; the truth hurts.
Seriously, though, I have discovered a major flaw: my left ear is deformed. I finally got my YMCA membership (complete with hideous picture ID) and the first time my iPod and I ran on the treadmill, my left earbud kept bouncing out of my ear. It didn't matter how far I shoved it in or twisted it around, it keeps bouncing out. Very annoying.
Otherwise, my weekend was pretty good. I re-watched North and South (the BBC drama based on a novel set in England, not American Civil War stuff) and boy does that movie have one of the best movie kisses ever. If I could ever be kissed like that, my life would be just about perfect. ;D (Minor note, I recently made some icons from this movie at my icon journal
waiting4morning.)
Speaking of romance, the only downside to my weekend might have been on Sunday where a guy from my infantile Sunday School class has nearly confirmed my suspicions that he likes me. Urgh. I really hope not, because I don't want to be mean, but we have nothing in common and couldn't possibly meet on an intellectual level, which I think is pretty important in a relationship. Not to mention the very awkward situation of his parents being my Sunday School teachers should he ask me out and I reject him.
Hopefully, I'm just reading his signals wrong (and it wouldn't be the first time) and he's thinking nothing of the sort. That would be the best for both of us.
In writing news, I also finished the list of edits for my current fantasy novel I had saved back from the Fantasy Novel Workshop on Writing.com and then posted it for (almost) public consumption. Now that those edits are done, I'm sitting around twiddling my thumbs until other edits come in so I can get back to work. I suppose I should take a look at my Self-Editing for Fiction Writers too. Hmm. Didn't think about that until now. Something to remember for later. I'm wondering, though, if I should begin on edits for another piece while I'm waiting or if mixing revisions of two different stories would be a Bad Thing.
