Note to self: When a friend blithely informs you that removing body hair with a certain product is painless, do not trust them.
I've never been self-conscious about my eyebrows; they're not very bushy, they're a light color, and they don't meet above my nose. But I've been wanting a nice arch to them and so a friend recommended these "cold wax" strips you can pick up at any supermarket store that carries hair products. They were relatively cheap, so I picked them up and tonight was the first time I tried them.
OUCH.
The underside of my eyebrow looks like a tomato; red and hairless. Not that I took off too much, thank goodness, but owwwie.
In other news, I got my wish. Today our county was on a Level 3 snow emergency, so no work for me! Yay!
