THERE'S A LAURA-LEOBEN FIC! The Kindly Ones, by eye_of_a_cat. Set late in season three, Laura interviews a Leoben who's been caught in the fleet.
*pretends to be calm again*

Hey, go tell me what to blog about. I have time this week.

But before I blog to anyone's command, a RL friend wants Lost links. I decided it would be easier to put it here and send her the one link. Oh, and I keep her up to date with Harry Potter fic recs and stuff too, so... on to the random! Um, I may have mentioned a few of these before. Sorry, LJ folk.

two CREEEEEEEEEEEEPY Ben stories. EEEEEK. *hides in closet from stalker Ben*

Yeah, that's all the fanfic I have. I've read only four or five stories in Lost fandom so far--it's just not that interesting to me.

The fabulous ack_attack does hilarious (and profane) picture recaps for Lost episodes.

Here is that theory about the island being stuck back in time.

Okay, on to fic from shows created by Joss Whedon:
bellatemple wrote Why Faith Can't Be a Pirate. Hee!

The same author wrote Fannon Fodder, a weird Xander-centric fanfic in which some nerds pull Xander out of the TV show into the real world. It's a long series and, for me, the novelty and humor weren't as good by the end, but it was still a worthwhile read. Plus--the best Mary-Sue ever! (Hey, real-life friend, let me know if I need to explain what a Mary-Sue is.)

Fairytale (by deird1) has five very short fairy tales dealing with Buffy and the men in her life.

mosca wrote Different For Girls, with Zoe, Kaylee and Wash. Pre-series.

Before moving on I must say how Very Shocked I am by a Most Appalling Story. I implore you, gentle reader, NOT to seek out Jayne Eyre, which has Jayne Cobb in place of our inimitable heroine Jane Eyre. It has Questionable Moral Content, with cross-dressing, same-sex marriage and a hero heroine leading character who is Certainly Not a Good Example for Young People today.
I haven't stopped giggling yet, and I read it yesterday.

Harry Potter fanfic!
Wouldn't Be the Same, set after Deathly Hallows. Cute short story.

lyras wrote Weasley Once More, also after DH. A story about Percy and grieving.

It's a Start, by inell gives on possibility on how Dudley and Harry might've continued to... sort of get along and be friendly.

Another inell story: Routines, about Augusta Longbottom. (Neville's grandmother!)

sabrinanymph wrote Underground--what was Charlie doing during the seventh book?

noticeably wrote Lacking in Colour, which focuses on two characters barely mentioned in the books--Millicent Bulstrode and Anthony Goldstein.

'Night of the Anas' part one and part two. The author's summary was this quote from book 7: “I bet it sneaked up here from Experimental Charms, they’re so careless, remember that poisonous duck?” Yes, it's a story about the two men who fearlessly created the poisonous duck. Very silly.

This has been recommended all over Livejournal--and for good reason. Five Women Who Hate Fleur Delacour by snegurochka_lee.

lizbee wrote a very silly Harry Potter/Doctor Who crossover fic, Hermione's Handbag Is Bigger On The Inside, But Not In A Symbolic Way Or Anything.

Baby-fic! And This, My Lovely Child, Is Your Garden, by honey_wheeler is a story with Bill and Fleur Weasley, before, during and after Deathly Hallows.

kethlenda is the author of Five Times Andromeda Tonks Said Good-Bye.

Another crossover fic! The Holes in the Ground has Rodney from Stargate: Atlantis meeting up with various incarnations of the Doctor. I've never watched an episode of SG:A (though I do know a bit about his character and the premise of the show), but this story is simply amazing. The author: mercurial_wit. Yup, she's the one who writes BSG fic that causes me extreme envy and much angst, because she's just that good.

florahart conjured up the scene where Harry finally talks to Aunt Petunia again. Family Reunion.

fic rec, lost, leoben, bsg
