so wordy these last few days

20 minutes until the apple crisp comes out of the oven! I really don't like pies (too much crust) but I love the fillings when they're made with fruit that actually tastes like fruit. So apple crisp is just perfect.

I really wanted Neal McDonough and CKR to switch roles... I think CKR would've been awesome as the Tin Man. Not that he wasn't hot in the leather coat and on the horse and his hair actually looked good, too...

That's a brilliant idea--their appearance and the gravity they bring to roles would've been well-suited for that. Plus more CKR talking, I'm guessing... I still haven't finished part one, but it looks like McDonough's role is definitely more substantial.

I guess I never liked pie crust but I love the toppings and the filling. Ergo my adoration for crisps, gratins, cobblers, etc.

Okay, now I'm really hungry. :D

My favorite part about apple crisps--they still taste good when reheated the next day. Yum.

Well, I haven't yet finished part one of Tin Man, since Sci-Fi split it into several pieces for the online version... we'll see if I have the patience to keep going. (CKR isn't always enough of a motivation, as shocking a statements as that is from me.)
