Hey, livejournal, why did you lose my last two posts? This is not good, LJ. I wonder if they'll come back?

Still watching Jericho. It's regularly okay and intermittently awesome. I watched episodes 1X12 and 1X13 yesterday--I had planned to watch just one, but I wanted to know what happened next. Both episodes fit into the intermittently

I love Red Flag (1x12) its seriously one of my favourite episodes of the series. Mostly cuz Emily actually gets to be so proactive, the one place the show fell down soemtimes was there were some fairly traditional gender roles a lot of the time. Emily was not always consistent(they messed with her character a lot in the early eps and you can tell) but she was never passive(unlike Heather who is passive to the point it annoys me) and I always thought her character had amazing potential. I also liked that she could flat out rage at Jake for legitimate reasons but she stll obviously cares about him. Its rare for couples to be realistically messy like that on tv. Can you tell I was a JEm (Jake/Emily) shipper?

1x13 was what made me go from loving the show despite its problems to just loving it. That scene when Gray has a gun to Jonah's head is amazing and I still get chlls from it. Jonah was a fabulous character, dark twisty but still complex and obviously had a lot of backstory. That was something the show got right about portraying a small town most of the characters all had a lot history. Their are some really great themes in that episode about justice and Law and Order. Plus some great character stuff for just about everybody. Just talking about all of it makes me want to rewatch myself now
