TV: Missing; also several fanfic recs (various fandoms)

I watched the pilot episode for Missing online. So I'm already watching the Jim Caviezel is an unrealistic badass show (Megan's description of Person of Interest). Totally willing to add the Ashley Judd is an unrealistic badass show to the roster. Plus: Europe. Plus: ex-spies whose past won't let them go! PLUS! ASHLEY JUDD BEATS PEOPLE UP.

The first few minutes are... not shaky, just trying to establish a lot that will only matter in passing later. (She loved her husband, he loved her, and then Sean Bean is out of the picture.) It picks up a lot when we get to the heart of the story: a mother looking for her son.

Side note: Judd's French accent is quite good. She doesn't have the typical American speaking French flaws.

I'm on board so far. Hopefully this show isn't done by Warner, the company that has made it so difficult to get episodes of Person of Interest. (Difficult enough that I may have to wait and watch season two of PofI on DVD months later, since Big Brother will officially be watching our internet usage starting this summer.) I still can't believe that Warner won't even offer episodes for legal sale online the next day.

Moving on. It's fic rec time!
Doctor Who
That's How You Came Here, Like a Star Without Name: River's time in the library. Spoilers for season six. PG, 2300 words.
A Game of Equals: River/Eleven AU in which she's an international jewel thief and he's Agent 0011. Background Amy/Rory, Mickey/Martha, others. I liked this AU scenario a LOT, and that's definitely not my usual preference. R/NC-17; 94,000 words. (I read it over several days.)

Parks and Recreation
With You, I'm Brighter: Ann/Tom. I KNOW. Go read it anyway. PG, 1500 words.

Fringe
Quantum Entanglement: Set in amber-verse, travels backward in time to red-verse early season three, mentions blue verse, ends in amber-verse... or that one time Peter Bishop was totally confused. I really liked this in all of its timey-wimeyness. Peter, Lincoln, Olivia, etc. PG, just over 7000 words.

Person of Interest
Pooja's New Tiffin Wallah: Reese's landlady takes action after 1.17. Thoroughly charming. G, 2000 words.
A Choice of Poisons: Finch's POV as he worked with (and pined over) Ingram. PG, 2500 words. (Steph, you would probably enjoy this; you mentioned seeing Finch as being romantically interested in Ingram once.)

Dark-Haired Beauty: Reese POV after 1.17 about Leila, but also fills in some backstory. PG, under 600 words.
