The End
Here's my spoiler-free prediction for the Lost finale: The concert that everyone is attending is by Jefferson Starship, and the group will announce that they're taking back their old name, Jefferson Airplane. They'll have a jumbo jet onstage as part of the scenery, and as they finish performing "Blues from an Airplane," they'll invite audience members to join them onstage. Predictably, these people will include our Losties, and as final guitar note echoes through the speakers, everyone will climb aboard the plane and it will soar into the setting sun.
Then the closing credits will roll and I will laugh hysterically until I finally decide I'm glad that I never purchased any of the Lost DVD's. The end.
Seriously, I'm quite excited! But I won't be watching until tomorrow night, so please don't post spoilers outside of an lj-cut. (Frankly I'm probably just going to avoid LJ until I've had a chance to watch the episodes myself.)
Oh, and don't forget that the finale is two and a half hours. Before it airs, there's a two-hour recap. I KNOW, IT'S RIDICULOUS! Oh, Lost. I really will miss you when you're gone.
Unless you totally ruin the ending.
