Battlestar Galactica 3.18 'Islanded in a Stream of Stars'
::jumps on the liveblogging train::

Okay, I didn't write anything down during the teaser. But now that we're done with that part, I'm already wrung out!

Hee, Colonel Tigh is yelling, unprovoked, at a random crew member who tells him things he doesn't want to hear. This makes me happy. I assume something happened to Chief, since he's not around. (in the brig?)

Laura is slipping into the Opera House.

Politician Lee and Politician Six yell/are yelled at about Galactica's fate.

Gaius on the radio wireless. Oooh, angels! Excellent! Also, head!Six has a very pretty party dress--I think it's different than the previous one.

Caprica and Gaius are talking! AWWW. Caprica is disbelieving of a change in Gaius.

An Eight and Tigh... creepy/cool/awesome.

Boomer and Hera. I'm traumatized just by watching this.

Ellen and Saul are arguing. HEEE! "You're a pip." ::snickers::

Hera can project.

Kara talks to Gaius and appeals to his scientific side. In typical Kara awesome sarcastic fashion.

::cries::
Here it comes. Sam in a tank.

::cries more::
At least he looks good in there.

Kara. "Human, cylon. It doesn't seem to matter. Because you're just Sam. You were my Sam."

Gun! Movement! Holy Frak!

Frak. Harbinger of death again. Frak frak frak.

::cries again::

Laura and Bill--she's awake enough to toke. It's sweet and really disconcerting.

Baltar the scientist--he's still allowed access to his equipment??

NO. I DON'T BELIEVE THIS. NO NO NO.
I just... they actually made Sam a ship hybrid.
I'm sorry, lizardbeth_j. I was totally wrong.

I... ::brain stutters to a halt::

What does 'take him offline' mean?

Oh no. Not the scene where Helo cries. (Yes, I watched the clip ahead of time on taragel's LJ.)
::heart smushed onto floor::
DON'T APOLOGIZE, HELO!

Funerals for the 60+ dead.

Mkay, Gaius... that was discreet. Yeah.

I thought Kara would punch rather than slap. He deserved it.

Lee doesn't care.
I'm currently feeling cynical and heart-crushed, so I DON'T CARE EITHER.
okay, fine. It was a nicely done scene.

Boomer gives Hera to Cavil. I DECLARE THIS WEEK TO BE THE WEEK OF TRAUMATIZED ROSE.

Dear Adama: this is not how I want white paint revisited on the show.

Kara plugs in Sam. which isn't dirty, honest

Bill decides to abandon Galactica. Tigh doesn't like it. Irish music lets us know it's okay to feel nostalgic.

(I was waiting to flash back to Sam saying, "Jump," at the end.)

Um, I'm still revising my own thought process right now.

In case it wasn't clear from me quoting it above, I loved Kara's little speech to Sam. About how he was her Sam... LOVED IT.

I hate Sam being in a tank. Hate it. I've been dreading it since the preview last week. I wanted it to be a dream sequence.

I wanted Kara to succeed at shooting him. They've had a pact before--back on Caprica, when they were waiting for the cylons to attack... I think Kara viewed this as keeping her promise.

That being said, Sam apparently has some degree of free will and awareness. He doesn't want to let go of life yet.

I hope he's not in there forever--either 'wake' him up or let him die, PLEASE--but he must have some other mission to accomplish before that.
