Happy Holidays!
I hope that everyone has a happy holiday and if I don't talk to you, or post before then, a very Happy New Year!
The holidays are always crazy at my house, whether we've got company coming over or not my parents always seem to get worked up into a frenzy about it. For the past week my mom has been screaming at me almost non-stop about cleaning, which I've done like oh I don't know...5 times in the same section of the house! *sigh* then she decides she's going to go over it herself anyway. It's infuriating, it really is. But I try to just shake it off and remind myself that it'll all be over in a couple of days anyway.
I'm fairing better at this than my hubby is though. I guess it's just cause I'm used to it cause it happens every year. He's getting really stressed out about it and said something that kind of upset me but I know that it's just his nerves talking that's all. But it still kinda hurt none the less.
Although I do have to give him this, he's doing alot better this year than he did last year. Last year was just....bad....*shivers* But he's better this year and that's all that matters.
The small fry is getting really excited about it. Hopefully next year though she'll be better about sitting on Santa's lap at the mall. She's still terrified of him for some reason. I tried twice this year to get her to do it and she refused so unfortunately there's no picture of the small fry on Santa's lap this year. It's kind of depressing but I'm going to be sure to get lots of pictures of her opening her presents tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it.
