so i am supposed to answer these and if you want me to formulate a set of questions for you, comment. though i do not forsee that happening. at all.
1) if you had the only vote that counted, who is president in 2008?
If I didn't want most of the world to hate me forever, John Edwards. If I could truly pick anybody that I wanted in the whole world, nobody! It would be a socialist world with committees, not presidents.
2) colbert gives a wag of the finger to your red headed lover dude. do you support your LJ icon or defend your wizard?
This is an easy one. Rupert Grint has an ice cream truck and Colbert doesn't so he automatically loses. While i would gladly let either of them violate me over and over again, there is just no beating a wizard with unlimited ice cream. I think Stephen and I will have to agree to disagree on this one to avoid any potential domestic disputes.
3) the biggest thing you miss about california? frazier park?
San Francisco! Everything about it is awesome. The weather, it's not full of republicans and bigots, it has an Amoeba, and i got to march in protests. You know, people actually gave a damn about their country. As for Frazier Park, I miss my family, especially my brother now that he's normal. A few select friends who don't live there anymore but made the place memorable. and absolutely NOTHING else. I hate that damn place.
4) is care for cell 44 a better zombies song than rose for emily? is flannery o connor a better writer than william faulkner?
No. Most definitely not. Necropheliacs are the creepiest (and therefore most interesting) brand of insane people. Even if the song isn't directly about necropheliacs, I prefer the crazies over the convicts.
I really haven't read enough of either to give a fully formed answer to the second, but i will say that I preferred As I Lay Dying to the collection of short stories by O'connor as a whole. There were some particularly outstanding ones, however.
5) of all your crazy jobs, which was your favorite?
Hmmm...Up until the last month or two that i worked there, the Malt Shoppe was my favorite. I had a lot of good friends to work with and it was relaxed for the most part. Plus the manager and i hung out all the time (until she quit and i stole her job, then we hung out more outside of work), so it was much more plesant. We got to do things like play MASH, listen to clips of arrested development and blast Nelly's it's getting hot in here through the drive through speaker. Plus I was allowed to play my awesome music all the time and expand the horizons of our customers into the realm of Sufjan Stevens, Tegan and Sarah, and a lot of random Hip Hop. And of course, there were Jonathan, Kevin and Joe who made the job seem less like a job and more like a dance party. Too bad the owners were dicks. I belive we would have been far less inclined to rebel and screw around if the owners had actually done their jobs correctly.
