Today
Today has been pretty awesome. I got my birthday presents of a 1914 Royal 10 typewriter and a silver teapot. Picked up some Hoeegarden and spent some time with some WD 40, a toothbrush, some q-tips, and a pick getting all of the dust off and out of the typewriter before it goes off to the typewriter hospital for adjustments and tightening.
Here's a photo I found online of my new treasure... not sure if the facebook photo of mine that I took when about to clean it will show up here.
I also got some potentially amazing news... but I won't know until next week so it's all hush hush until then.
Then again, I'm leaving for SF next week and am just beside myself happy over that. =)
