2 days of poetry
We have spent the last two days at the Decatur Book Festival, listening to some local poets and some professional poets reading their stuff. I really enjoyed it and it made me want to write again. It brought Giles and I back together over a subject that we both love and enjoy... poetry.
Our friendship started out with poetry, it's only fitting that it come back into our life now to help us when we need it. Music has also done this as we have set about exploring some new music together and me going to a gig with him that he reviewed. We are going to another gig on Wednesday night for the same guy that I went to a couple of weeks ago.

Who knows what we will get at the gig but I'm looking forward to it.
Today has been such a good day and I feel like I'm on cloud 9 honestly. Thankfully I don't feel like I'm waiting on that other shoe to drop, but I think it can just stay the hell away as far as I'm concerned. I don't care how much I love shoes, I don't want that one. Where ever it may be!
