lazy, daisy, sunday
So this morning started off like any other morning, me hitting the snooze a few times to many before getting up and getting ready for work. Somehow I managed to get up and get dressed and ready to walk out the door in time to get to work on time. Had a few delays on my way that put me 15 minutes late for work.
Dealt with that, and got back on track only 7 minutes behind my morning schedule. Then.... oh then..... I check messages at work. One call out, and two no call no shows. Now we only have 75 dogs, but I'm up front by myself because my receptionist called out with a migraine. I feel for her because I had a horrid one on Thursday that caused me to have to leave early. The other two I'm just annoyed by. Thankfully I was able to call one person and get them to come in, but I still don't know when that person will get here.
Thank the heavens I have coffee to make it though. Hopefully I won't get that many daycare dogs in today and the boarding check in's for today are not so bad, only 6. Should be able to survivie!
One week from today I will be sleeping late, and then getting up to make sure we have packed everything we need for our trip. We are going to Seattle, Wa. next Monday because xtown_traffic has a job interview. The next Monday we are off to Fort Collins, Colorado. So many first's for me, and I'm looking forward to sharing them all with the love of my life, my Cariad!!!
