365 days, and Anniversary Jazz
Well what can I say other than today has been wonderful. We slept later this morning than we have in a very long time. Miss Maggie Cat was quiet keen to sit in the windowsill and watch the squirrels in the trees just outside. The boys were both happy to run around outside and play and even though they barked some it wasn’t enough to keep me from going back to sleep.
Later when we finally managed to get out of bed we went for brunch at a little restaurant in Decatur called Taco Mac. We had several times before avoided it but I wanted wings this morning and xtown_traffic though he could fancy a philly cheese steak so I looked them up on the net and we decided to give them a shot. We were both happy with our meals and saw a few things we would go back for.
After brunch we headed downtown for the 31st (though we didn’t know it was the 31st) annual jazz festival. It had a bigger turnout than the one in Jacksonville and was nice. We even remembered the sunscreen and neither one of us got burned. It was just a lovely day to sit out in the sun and relax listening to some nice jazz.
