Doggie Investments

This month I've spent just shy of 45 dollars on Tazie, and gotten him three things that he will benefit from! Even though he does not believe me when I tell him so. So the first thing I got him was a crate. He has been stealing Mugsy's for a while now, and I hope that with having one of his own I might be able to break him of sleeping in the bed, I will try tonight and see what happens.

Second thing I got him was a little doggie backpack. Bode the APT at Decatur said that it would help Tazie to feel like he has a job. I hate having to lug around a bag of all of his stuff when we go walking, so now I don't have to and he can do it himself. He has a water bottle, his little collapsible water bowl, a ziplock baggie with 4 treats, and 2 poop bags in his backpack.

He loves his crate, and is in fact curled up in it now, he has taken his reindeer that his daddy got him for Christmas last year in it with him. He likes his backpack as you can see … However, he is not at all happy about the Gentle Leader I bought for him today. I put it on him and he thinks he is dying!!! We got home and went for a walk with it, and WOW I'm so impressed. Just like Mugsy, he is a totally different dog with the Gentle Leader. He walks right beside me and I don't have to wrap the leash around my hand to be able to hold on to him. He is not choking himself because he is pulling so hard. It took him a little while to get used to wearing it, but by the end of the walk he had stopped trying to pull it off.
Our walk today was so enjoyable, even if I did have to go around to the neighbor whose fence is adjacent and apologize for Tazie riling up her dogs all the time.

Well now I think it's time to move his crate to the bedroom and for me to take some cough medicine and pass out for the night, and maybe I will get rid of this stinking cold I've got.
