what a wonderful year
The evil Grinch left me a present under the tree this year. I woke up full of cold! It's seems to be an on going theme at work to have something going around and I've caught the latest, or rather I hope I've not caught the latest and it's just a cold. Strep throat is wickedly evil.
Tazie was extremely pleased to find that he got 2 squeaky toys for Christmas. Of course his Daddy said last night that he couldn't open his presents until he cleaned up the pile of toys that made their way to the office yesterday. (even though they are still there, now joined with them is one of the new ones) Maggie thought the empty boxes were her presents and she was quite keen to play with them. She is also quite happy to have her scratching pad dosed with another good helping of the good drugs (catnip).
Had a 12:43 minute conversation with my dad. If these calls keep getting longer, I'm going to run out of things to say!
It's so unfair to wake up sick on Christmas morning. However I've now been back to bed for a nap before work, yet still I feel cruddy.
Thankfully my wonderful husband is keeping me full of coffee and warm hugs and kisses. I have 4 hours of work ahead of me, and at least 80 something dogs to deal with tonight! Then to curl up and celebrate our 7 month Anniversary, 7 months since we got married... Wow.. it's been so wonderful and full of love and fun! I think I found the most perfect man in the world... (I'm so not sorry girls!!!)
