At the beginning of this month, a rare endangered California condor hatched out at the San Diego Safari Park. The as yet unnamed seventeen-day-old chick is the twentieth child of father Sisquoc and mother Shatash.

Condor Cam at San Diego Safari Park. The best time to watch is during daylight hours PST, when it's actually light enough to see (duh). At the moment -- it's about 1:50 PM PST -- Dad's in there. (He's the one with the wing tag.) At other times, you can see the chick exploring the nest, resting in its favorite corner, or just sitting there looking cute. Check it out!
