(I'll just add that I learned, when I was working at the animal hospital, that a lot of things your pet can swallow will not show up on an x-ray.) I'll write up my methods for a pretty but pet-safe Christmas display (I had an especially adventurous kitten) at my journal soon, and will be happy to link anyone who is interested when I do.
