Mikage's Graduation
The phone rang just then and Mikage picked it up.
"Hello. End of the world?" Mikage asked, knowing the purpose of the call.
"Mikage Souji, you have graduated from the Ohtori Academy. Our contract is at an end." the other voice on the end said.
Without another word, the phone line was cut and Mikage caught the sand clock's last bit of sand, flowing through the crack, signifying the end of his days in Ohtori. Taking off the ring, he left it on the table in an envelope, took all his belongings with him and walked out through the door which led to the outside world.
