Grandma's 70th B-day

My grandmother thinks 70 is a pretty big milestone birthday (she made a point of that for my grandfather's 70th).  So, I thought I could try and do something, surprise wise, for her.  It won't be big, 15-25 people including kids.  It will be the immediate family of children, grandchildren and her brothers and their wives pretty much (they're not big social butterflies).  We're going to have it at our house.  What I was wondering is if anybody had any suggestions for themes/ideas?  I've never done anything like this, so I'm not sure of where to start.  If anybody has anything I'd be really appreciative!
