Watching some Star Trek: The Next Generation reruns with my family..

"Identity Crisis" (the current episode playing) is a good one, but not my favorite.

Course, I could be biased, since my preferred Star Trek series is The Original (with William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk), but ....
I do enjoy spending time with my family.

It's hard spending time with everyone,  when the brother who joined the marines and the sister who is an army soldier are posted out-of-state.
Phone calls are not always enough.
Emails and letters help, but there is nothing like being with them and spending time together.

Good thing both had some leave coming - and they arranged for their visits home to be at separate times.
Sometimes, having both home would be nice, but being able to spend time with one and not having to choose between them, or find some common interest they both share can be a hassle.

Star Trek is one thing everyone in my family enjoys.
(Though, Babylon 5 is usually our first viewing option).

A few more hours of television, and it's off to bed.

personal, life
