Well, I've got bannana's at home that no one's eating.
The family likes banana bread, so here's a recipie I want to try.
2 1/3 cups flour
1 cup sugar
3.5 teaspoons (tsp) baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons salad oil
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
1 cup (2 or 3 medium) mashed ripe bananas.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 9x5x3 inch loaf pan (or two 8.5x4.5x2.5 inch loaf pans).
Measure all ingredients into large mixer bowl; beat on medium speed for about 30 seconds, scrapping side and bottom of bowl constantly
Four into pan(s). Bake 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove from pan; cool thoroughly before slicing.
Seems simple enough. Except for the salad oil. I think I'll substitute vegetable oil.
