What is love?

Love Never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut.
Love doesn’t have a swelled head,
Love doesn’t force itself on others.
Love isn’t always “Me first”
Love doesn’t fly off the handle.
Love doesn’t keep score of the sins of others.
Love doesn’t revel when others grovel.
Love takes pleasure in the flowering of truth.
Love puts up with anything.
Love trusts God always.
Love always looks for the best,
Love never looks back,
Love keeps going to the end.

Love never dies.  Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end, understanding will reach its limit.  [Knowledge and wisdom will be rendered useless].

True love disciplines.  Honest love will NOT let consequences slide.  Pure love chastens and rewards.
Love is more than sweet, soft feeling of supreme delight.  Love is passionate - Jesus Christ, who is the PRIME example of  love complete, threw thieves, merchants, and money-exchangers out of the Lord’s Temple!  He did not sin then, for Jesus the Messiah, sinned not - he suffered Temptation, was tested by Satan, tried at the cross, and rose after Calvary.

Love is tough.  It has to be, to bring its children up in the straight and narrow.
Love will not compromise - it does not lie, not to family, not to friends, not to self, not to enemies.
Love can be harsh.  Truth is harsh.  Together, they save lives.
Love does not gloss over - it can be blunt; it can be direct, it can be soothing, it can be peaceful.
Love will never end.  For God so loved us that He gave us His one and only son, so that we might have life everlasting with him.
