“Stop resisting, Autobot!” Vortex pulled his pain too away.
Vents smoking, his prisoner only gasped out “never,”
The interrogator growled before dropping the pain prod back onto sparking armor. Electricity crackled, short-circuiting vital systems.
This time, Vortex held the electrical current to the resisting Autobot until he stopped screaming. “Had enough pain yet?” Vortex tapped the still-powered prod thoughtfully. “Give me the answers and I’ll stop.”
Vents heaving, the tied up mech shook his head - it was the only way he could communicate with his vocal circuits blown.
“I’ve broken mechs more stubborn than you!” Vortex brought the tip of the prod to an inch of the trapped prisoner’s facial plates, held it there waiting. Optics glowing in anticipation, Vortex let his tool of choice drop the remaining distance - and touched a corpse.

When Shockwave - temporarily displaced from his planet sized laboratory - stormed through the corridors of the base, Decepticons everywhere scattered, seeking refuge anywhere.
Stomping peds were typically the first (sometimes only) warning hapless soldiers had - and they soon learned to flee, least they be subject to Shockwave’s experiments.
“I’ve had it with escaping Autobots!”
Starscream first glanced at Skywarp, then changed his focus to Swindle. Both gave no indicators they were at fault this time - an expression of innocence or a mask of worry would mean one or both were involved.
Curiosity overtaking concern, Starscream strolled over to the unworried Soundwave. Silently, the communication mech tilted his security monitory, showing a gray husk in Shockwave’s lab.

“Did we fool anyone on this island?” Heatwave asked after revealing the truth about himself and the Rescue Bot team.
Huxley Prescott snorted. “Not really.”
The red firetruck face palmed. “What gave us away?”
“None of the newer arrivals were good at pretending to be lifeless machines - I will admit, the robotic impressions you four constantly portrayed helped us townsfolk from realizing just how aware you were.” Huxley wanted to pull at his collar, disliking being questioned. At least the camera’s weren’t broadcasting this conversation.
“Cody was right - we should have insisted the others take acting lessons before being allowed to roam about as ‘Robots in Disguise’.”.
Prescott couldn’t contain his curiosity any longer. “How long did it take for the Burns family to learn?”
Heatwave glared for so long the news reporter thought the alien wasn’t going to answer, then he heard, “Chief’s family was in it from the beginning.”
